Working independently on various projects and short films Carved Souls was Formed in early 2001 by legion gotham and suede.

A unique sound was forged by adding a mixture of darksynth, synthpop, goth & immense lyrics.
This combination created the elements that are now Carved Souls. In the winter of 2001 Carved Souls released Reconstructed "a limited realease". this album was the early work and start of what is now a fully pieced band.
Reconstructed was just a suttle begining, after it's release Carved Souls was put on hold until late 2003 when the trio returned to create more tracks. In 2004 the group released it's first independent album Machinery.

Machinery" sounds very dark and at times minatory which depends on long-standing melodies and hauling rhythms. The singing varies from monotonous deep to melodic and catchy styles and therefore perfectly fits the adequate instrumental input which enrich this album with very melancholic melodies and minimalist compositions of those slow-speed tracks, isolating the essential elements but still able to create a full musical backdrop.
After Machinery the band went idle until 2006 when Darken Lights the bands most recent release.
Darken Lights showed and presented quite an advancement over Machinery while still keeping the bands roots and simplistic style.

After Darken Lights the band went idle yet again. The trio are now back in the studio working on the forth coming album titled Waveform with an expected 2008 release.
